Wow...So I guess Meg must have a weird fan that has thus recruited another perfect stranger to stalk her blog. I guess some people just have it! :) Must be her pretty face....lets hope it's not B's sparkling smile, cuz that would just be one more reason for me to be cautious about putting pictures on here.
I love having a blog for being able to keep track of my family and have them keep track of me. This is just such a convenient way to keep track of update a large amount of people...but it does have it's drawback...like perfect strangers looking and commenting on your site.
And then when family wants to comment they can't! I don't know how Stacie got her two cents in cuz I tried and no luck!
So...that's my rant about blogs :)
Speaking of...I promise I will have a more detailed one about like...stuff that has been going on in my life in the last week soon....maybe tomorrow if I'm not dying of exhaustion in bed all day tomorrow :) So until then...

Back From Camp!
Well, I made it back from camp in one piece! I had a great time, which is the reason I said I would go even being 7 months prego! When I was younger and actually in Young Woman's I always had a great time at Girls Camp.
So, I have a few pictures of my cabin and the main cabin. Then there is a picture or two of some girls trying to do a trick with a piece of string, there are some pictures of the girls performing our skit on Wednesday evening and then a group picture of the girls that came from my Ward that I was responsible for.
On a side note, coming home early did allow for me to be here and go with Erick to pick up his mom, so that was a blessing in disguise. She's been here for a day and a half and things have been great so far. I'm also going to get some pictures up of the bedding that I've made for the baby, it's turned out really nice. I've just got to finish binding the quilt and then sew the bed-skirt together and it's all finished! I'll try to get those up tomorrow or possibly Monday. I guess I've rambled enough for now though!

Pretty Spot On!
You Are An ENFJ |
![]() The Giver You strive to maintain harmony in relationships, and usually succeed. Articulate and enthusiastic, you are good at making personal connections. Sometimes you idealize relationships too much - and end up being let down. You find the most energy and comfort in social situations ... where you shine. In love, you are very protective and supporting. However, you do need to "feel special" - and it's quite easy for you to get jealous. At work, you are a natural leader. You can help people discover their greatest potential. You would make a good writer, human resources director, or psychologist. How you see yourself: Trusting, idealistic, and expressive When other people don't get you, they see you as: Bossy, inappropriate, and loud |
Well....believe it or not this was pretty spot on! And I don't usually give much credit to personality tests! I particularly liked the "when other people don't get you" part. That kind of hit home for me, just with everything that went on at the last job I had. I know Meggan and Aimee have already but, the rest of you all should take this little quiz..it's pretty interesting! :)
On a side note, I worked on baby bedding yesterday and it's turning out awesome! I'll put pictures up...hopefully by Monday before I head to camp for a week. It cracks me up a little...I am like continually amazed when I'm able to do some sort of craft well. I made a bumper for the crib yesterday, and it matches the quilt I am in the process of finishing and it turned out so SO good! And when Erick saw it he was like " Yeah it's nice. Good job." And I'm like...No honey, you don't understand, I MADE this, with my own two hands! And I can see his brain just thinking ' Uh, Jen, you make tons of stuff, and they all turn out nice. This is special how?'
But that's a guy for ya :)

Baby Basics
Erick and I went to a class this morning called "Baby Basics" that the Navy offers for new parents. It was a pretty informative class, they taught us pretty much what the first month with a new baby is going to be like, talked about babies with colic and stuff like how to clean the umbilical cord and how to bathe a baby properly and and what to do if it's sick and stuff like that. I know a lot of that seems like it should be common sense type stuff but...i want to be as prepared has humanly possible before our little girl gets here! So off to the classes I go. We've got another on on Thursday that is about putting together a stable budget with a new addition and then next month I'll be taking a breastfeeding class and an infant/child CPR class. I'm also hoping to sign up for a birthing class they hold at the hospital I'll be delivering at, at some point during July if my schedule works out! Things tend to fill in for me fast around here!
For example, I'm going to girls camp for my church next week! I'll be gone for 4 days with Erick at home by himself....that's a first for our marriage so...lol we'll see how he handles the house by himself! Hopefully I should have some fun pictures from that when I get back. And then, also at the end of next week Erick's mom and younger half-sister are coming out to visit and they will be here until July 6th! It will be good for me I think, I haven't spent more then a couple of hours with his mom, and seeing that our marriage was a little bit of a surprise for his family I figure this will give her a good opportunity to scope me out and see how she really feels about me. :) It should be good though...I'm a little nervous but...lol I don't know, I guess I'll keep y'all posted on that as well!
So there's the update for now. Here is a pic of my growing belly...still got a decent amount of growing to do but...atleast you can see what I look like right now at 27 weeks!

Labeled?

Alright, a little birdy told me that the "inkblots" also known as pictures of my daughter aren't clear enough for some people to tell what parts are what so....lol, I've done my best to label them.....at least to the best of what parts I think are what! I'm sure that there are a few out there that are even better at checking out ultrasounds than I am...this is only my third and I'm not a doctor so... :) I'm just happy I can feel her and I've had a chance or two to get somewhat of a glimps of her before she's here! So here are two that I've labeled, hopefully they help!

26 Week Ultrasound
Alright, I know I'm a day late with these but here are the pictures from yesterday's ultrasound. They're not as clear as some of the other ones... and not just because of my camera this time! And they're all pictures of her face, because they really just wanted to check and see if she had a cleft lip, because she was moving around so much last ultrasound and they couldn't see her face well.

These two are of her profile, and the best out of the bunch, you can see her the clearest. The next three are all front view. You can kind of see her face, like her eye sockets and kind of infer where the rest of her is!

So anyway, there is my precious little girl! She was sleeping yesterday I think, and you could see her all curled up into a ball. She's active at night though, and she must be sitting breech right now because, where I used to feel the kicks up around my belly button, I now feel them very low in my pelvis, and like...I can literally feel her dancing on my bladder...which at moments is really super uncomfortable! The rest of the appointment went well, I took my glucola test yesterday, and I guess they'll call me today or tomorrow if I fail, and then make me come back and take another test to make sure I have gestational diabetes. So...I'm hoping for no news, because no news is good news when it comes to the Navy. Anyway, I should head off for now, I'll try not to be too much of a stranger!

Jen
