Stressed...

You know what's stressful? This:

and knowing that I have a husband deployed in that region. Now granted....he is in the Navy. And on a Sub. It's not exactly his job to be on the front lines of something like this. But I would be a fool to think that the outcome of this turmoil in Egypt does not have a direct effect on my husband, and my life.

I think the waiting is the worst part. Watching the news to see how things pan out...waiting for any possible word from his boat if there is going to be one. Many of you may think it's pointless to even worry about it now...I'll know what and when I need to know. But this man is my life line...I can't live without him.

Please God...help those people in Egypt. Help those in power make the correct decisions to end the madness, to restore peace. And please...Please God...bring my husband home to me.

First off, I like that you finally fixed your blah background to something cute that matches you header. :) As to the worry, it will always be there but if you can turn over to the Lord what you can't control, then at least you will be able to have peace while you wait.

I'm sorry its a scary time where your husband is deployed! I know I wouldn't be your first choice but if you want to talk, I'll be around! I'll keep him in my prayers! I have great respect for those in the military. They keep this country free. Stay strong lady!

As a sub wife, I totally understand! During his last deployment there was a huge hot spot and I just KNEW that they were doing something connected to it. I feel like that are a little safer since they are on a sub in the ocean and they have to found first, but it's still stressful. I pray that you'll hear from your DH soon!
