Finally the Quilt!

Alright, so Ive finally posted the pictures of the baby quilt that I've been talking about for what must be months now! The sad part is that it's not finished, and I'm actually going to have to take it apart and have my mom help me with it when she comes out in September! But the top is finished, and so is the bumper so....you atleast get an idea of what it looks like.

What else? I got a new calling in church, they've put me working with the Young Women. It wasn't s surprise to me, not after going to camp. I'm the secretary in the presidency, which may seem like it wouldn't be that much work but...they're finding ways to keep me busy. :) I have activities every tuesday and then of course meetings on sundays, and then any special activities the stake puts together, like Youth Conference in August. This week I was in charge of refreshments for tonight's activites, so I was up to my elbows in cookie dough and frosting yesterday. Man, I didn't taste any of it either, but I felt like I was in sugar shock all evening last night!

Erick got excepted as an ELT, which means we'll be in SC for a few more months. An ELT is basically a chemist. His duties will have something to do with testing the reactor's chemical reactions and what not. It takes a few more months of schooling, but it means better pay once he's qualified and better bonuses and stuff so that is good. And it means better hours while he is in this las leg of school so...I'm looking forward to that!

The pregnancy is going well....I'm tired and I hurt, mostly in the morning after trying, and I stress the word trying, to sleep the night through. That and I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions pretty increasingly lately, especially since saturday night. But all is well....six weeks or so to go! I can only hope Erick and I are ready for the challenge!

Well...I think that's all the news I have for now!

love,
Jen

Ok you know I LOVE these. I am so impressed with your handiwork and craftiness (also jealous ;)) Lorelai is going to love them too.

And we are so glad you are staying for a little while longer. I get to see Lorelai a little before you leave me here all alone *sniff sniff* :) ♥Sariah
